Overview

The Civic Improvement Commission (CIC) advises the council in a number of areas including library concerns, beautification, cultural concerns, history, social services, seniors, and youth.

The CIC is also responsible for making recommendations to the City Council on allocating the city’s $55,000 of General Fund grants to qualified social service agencies. The FY 22-23 Social Services Subgrant applications cycle is currently open. Applications are due on January 29, 2021. Visit the Social Service Subgrant page for more information and application materials.

Additionally, the CIC annually awards competitive grant funding for Campbell neighborhoods. The maximum grant award is $500. Funding and the process for the FY 2021-22 will be confirmed at the Commission's February 11, 2021 meeting.
