The Police Department Records Division is staffed by six Records Specialists, one Property & Evidence Specialist, one Court Liaison Officer, and one Supervisor. The Division is managed by the Support Services Division Captain. The Records Division is responsible for the processing and management of all Police Department records such as crime and accident reports, warrants, traffic citations, and parking citations.

The Records Division provides assistance to the public at the front lobby information desk which is open to the public Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. They also answer all business calls to the Police Department during business office hours.

Citation sign-off hours are Monday through Friday, 12 noon to 1:00 PM. There is no fee for this service. If your vehicle is not drivable and is located in the City of Campbell, you may make an appointment for a sign-off by calling our Traffic Unit at (408) 866-2177.

Police report copies can be purchased by completing a Report Copy Request (64k pdf). The cost for a report is $0.05 per page. The application can be dropped off or mailed to the Campbell Police Department, 70 North First Street, Campbell, CA 95008. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH. The Police Department will respond to your request within 10 days.

Suspects or arrestees requesting copies of their arrest report must contact the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s office at (408) 299-7400. The office is located at 70 West Hedding Street, San Jose, CA 95110.

Juvenile arrestees or suspects in criminal cases may be able to obtain a redacted copy of their police report. Please contact the business line at (408) 866-2121 for further information.
