John D. Morgan Park Monitoring Wells Project

These wells will be used by SCVWD to collect data needed to monitor the groundwater quality and to support permitting and compliance for potential use of recycled and purified water for groundwater replenishment.

The Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD) will be constructing new monitoring wells at John D. Morgan Park. These wells will be used by SCVWD to collect data needed to monitor the groundwater quality and to support permitting and compliance for potential use of recycled and purified water for groundwater replenishment.

Construction is anticipated to start February 27 and take approximately 13 weeks to complete. (Completion is scheduled for late May.) Project work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. No work is scheduled for weekends or holidays. The park will remain open during construction.

The water district is working closely with Public Works staff to minimize impacts to the community as much as practical. Please see additional information below.
