The City of Campbell will be hosting our Annual Great American Litter Pickup on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Campbell Park.
Our cleanup will focus on the following locations:
Los Gatos Creek Trail
Freeway on and off ramps at Camden Avenue and Highway 17
Along the railroad tracks adjacent to Winchester Boulevard at Hacienda Avenue
Along the railroad tracks behind Rolling Hills Middle School
Additionally, work parties will help plant trees, haul & spread playground fibar and sand at Campbell Park.
Rain or shine, volunteers will be asked to meet at the park at 9:00 a.m., at which time they will sign in and then disperse into groups. Instructions on safety and debris removal will be discussed. Gloves, vests and other tools will be available, but Volunteers may bring their own gloves and hand tools if they wish. Volunteers are encouraged to dress appropriately for the event.
Refreshments will be provided in the morning and the event will conclude with a lunch at noon.
