Overview

The Civic Improvement Commission (CIC) advises the council in a number of areas including library concerns, beautification, cultural concerns, history, social services, seniors, and youth.

The CIC is also responsible for making recommendations to the City Council on allocating the city’s $50,000 of General Fund grants to qualified social service agencies. Social Services Subgrant applications are generally due in January.

Additionally, the CIC annually awards competitive grant funding for Campbell neighborhoods. The maximum grant award is $500. The application period is currently closed. The application period occurs during the fall. For more information, contact Graduate Intern Michael Thomas at michaelt@cityofcampbell.com.
